We are mothers, wives, daughters, sisters, grandmothers, aunties, nieces, cousins, friends, colleagues; we are salt and light, fearfully and wonderfully made. WE ARE WOMEN!
As sisters in one Body our mission is to see every woman develop into the fullness of the virtuous woman (Prov. 31) God intended for us to be. Our goals are to manifest the standards of Christ in every way by representing His image and displaying His character. We strive to develop in the Love of God, to achieve His perfect will for our lives and promote unity with a sense of family and sisterhood. As Disciples of Christ we desire to create opportunities for women to connect with each other as many of us share common life experiences. Our hope is to use these experiences to minister to others that are wearing the shoes we once wore. We are created to be a voice of hope and wisdom.
The Women's Ministry; loves, connects, teaches, invests, nurtures, laughs and so much more!!
We do this by reaching out to the body of Eagle's Nest Worship Center as well as going beyond our doors. Here are some examples of the ways we are building ladies up:
Bible studies
Breakfast and fellowships
Clothing Closet for the ladies that attend EN
Ministering to women and children at the Open Door Mission
Annual ladies conference bringing in national and international speakers
Hosting all-church overnight prayer sessions
Chartering buses to Kansas City for a day of shopping and fellowship
